Welcome to Hazelwood Stud. I have owned an array of pets ranging from cats, dogs, fish, sheep, chickens and ducks hamsters, guinea pigs and probably much more! I am a full time mum with 2 children who decided in her !!spare time!! would like to own some rabbits. I started with Continental Giants and Belgian Hares and Mini Rex and am now drifting towards lops in Mini/French and English. I still have Rex and also Netherland Dwarfs.
Although I love all of my pets our passion lies with rabbits. We do breed our rabbits but only allow couple a of litters a year per doe. My rabbits are loved and cared for as individual pets and I give them an exceptionally good life.They have large hutches in our garden lodge and access to outdoor runs - weather permitting.
Hazel wood stud is based in beautiful rolling countryside in South Nottinghamshire. All of my rabbits are loved and handled daily, they are used to children and other various animals that pop in to see them.!! We have some beautiful breeding stock and specalise in Chocolate French & Mini lops and also developing the blue eyed Mini Rex although I also have some stunning broken colours and smoke & frosted pearl mini rex . Also Standard Rex in Tri Colour and Harlequin and Netherland Dwarf in Orange and Blue Eyed White.
